My Rule: Stay Broke to Grow Rich.

That’s when I created a simple rule for myself:
Stay broke — on purpose. It doesn’t mean living in pain or lack. It means choosing freedom over flash.
In my early years, here’s how I lived:
• I stayed in a tiny studio apartment.
• I drove an old secondhand car.
• I skipped luxury trips and designer clothes.
• I reinvested almost everything back into my business and assets.
I wasn’t trying to look rich. I was focused on becoming truly wealthy.
Upgrade When It Has a Purpose.
Later on, I upgraded my lifestyle—but not to show off. I changed how I dressed and what I drove so that I could show up with confidence and professionalism—not for ego but for credibility—so people could trust me faster. There’s a big difference between impressing people and inspiring them.
The Day the Rewards Finally Came.
After years of discipline, something amazing happened. My passive income grew bigger than my monthly expenses. That’s when I allowed myself to enjoy the rewards—guilt-free.
• I bought a home—paid in full.
• I took my family on a dream vacation—not to post pictures, but to celebrate the journey.
These were not trophies for others to see. They were quiet rewards for years of patience and smart choices.
A Rule I Learned at a Wealth Seminar.
One day at a seminar, a speaker said something I’ll never forget: “Until your net worth hits $10 million, focus every dollar on just three things:”
1. Invest in Yourself: Learn, grow, and build your mindset.
2. Invest in Your Business: Strengthen the engine that brings in your income.
3. Invest in Income-Producing Assets: Buy things that give you monthly money—even when you sleep.
Forget the fancy lifestyle. Assets first. Freedom next. Luxury later.
Key Lesson:
Looking rich is easy. Becoming wealthy takes discipline, patience, and vision.
Action Step:
Take 15 minutes and review how you spent your money over the last 30 days.
Ask yourself:
• Did this help me grow?
• Did this help my business?
• Did this help build my future?
Now take on a 90-day challenge:
• Cut back on unnecessary spending
• Focus on learning and growing
• Build your assets before upgrading your lifestyle
Stay broke for a season—so you can live free for a lifetime.
