Hey future entrepreneurs!
Let’s talk about something important: how to support new people joining your business or direct selling team.
One big mistake many make? Expecting new associates to do too much too soon. Remember, when someone joins, they’re often stepping out of their comfort zone and into something completely new.
The key? Don’t overwhelm them. Be their guide and mentor. Take time to understand them by asking:
- What’s their goal as an entrepreneur?
- What problems are they looking to solve?
- What motivates them to build wealth?
They’re not just a way to make money. They’re people with dreams, families, and hopes for a better future. For example, if someone tells you they want to create wealth for their family, use that motivation to keep them focused when they feel discouraged.
Here’s a tip: Work with them, not just for them. Don’t just tell them what to do—show them how. Join them in presentations and provide support. Success isn’t about bringing people in and leaving them to figure it out on their own. It’s about building real partnerships and *helping them grow.
Start small. If someone earns $12,000 a year, don’t start by talking about making $50,000 a month—it can feel unrealistic. Focus on their immediate goals and help them grow step by step. I like to ask, *“Imagine turning your yearly income into your monthly income—what are five things you’d change in your life?”* This helps them dream bigger while staying grounded.
The takeaway? Your success depends on how well you support your team. When you help others achieve their dreams, you’ll achieve yours too.
