After finding hope in my new path, I thought everything would fall into place. Instead, I faced rejection, disappointments, and failure after failure.
There were moments when I wondered if I had made a huge mistake leaving the “security” of my courier job. But I remembered Mike’s 20 years ending in a pink slip, my parents losing their retirement savings, and my own dark apartment with the power cut off.
I knew going back wasn’t an option.
What I learned was this: failure isn’t the opposite of success — it’s part of it. Rejection, setbacks, and struggle shaped me more than any easy win could have.
